01 What is When's who?
This site has the main purpose to show in a synoptic view the lives of the most influential people in history.
To get started, you can go directly to the timeline, which can be filtered to meet your needs, or click on
the random portraits in the title bar: for each person, you will find a page listing
all influential people born and dead during this person's life. You could also browse through all the people listed.
02 What is not When's who?
This site is not an encyclopedia: you will find extensive informations about the people listed here in many
other sites (try Wikipedia or Google for example). We will only provide a very short description of the most important goals
reached by these persons in the relevant page. Also, this site is not a collection of lists of famous people related to the same area
(for example, the list of the Catholic Popes or of the Japanese Emperors): again, you will already find plenty of those surfing the net.
03 Hey, my favourite person is not listed! Why?
To be listed here, a person should meet two requirements: be famous and dead. Although for the latter
little doubt may arise, it is clear that the definition of fame may change from one person to another. Let's say that a person can be considered famous
if he/she is listed in some kind of encyclopedia and/or there are some sites devoted to him/her.
04 OK, my favourite person meets the requirements. Why isn't he/she listed?
Probably because I had no time to add him/her, I am not aware of his/her existence or I just didn't think
about him/her. Also, I am Italian, so people who are Italian in particular, and European in general, may be overestimated in this site.
Luckily, you can use a form to suggest additions.

06 This site sucks! Can't you improve it?
Of course. Please send suggestions using the relevant form. Also consider that English is not my mother language, so any suggestion, even on grammar or lexicon, is welcome.

Of course. You can, for example, link it to your page or suggest people to
be added.
08 You are a nazi pig! On top of this page there are pictures of Hitler and Mussolini!
Two random portraits are shown on top of any page you'll visit, so that's only the random function's fault.
Right now, since 208 people are listed with portraits, you only have one chance over 21528 to see Hitler and Mussolini (or any other given couple)
together.
